When moving to CO from L.A. I thought I'd never find anyone to cut my hair the way I like it (Literally the "blow dry my head upside down, flip it back up and voila my hair is done" look lol!). UNTIL I FOUND KIM NYDAM!!
My old stylist would give me 3 color highlights -" thin layers / natural looking". Kim's specialty is color (but does awesome cuts too - great with a razor), she will suggest the colors right for you and tell you what the wrong ones are based on this dry CO climate! Her method of doing your highlights literally allow them to last for at least 2 months - they look THAT natural.
All you need to do is tell her your lifestyle, type of cut you like and the colors you want and she'll make sure you walk out feeling good about yourself!
Amy Seigel at Aloha Salon is just the best. She has colored and cut my hair for over a year. The thing I love the most about Amy is that she really listens to you and really knows the right questions to ask to get your desired results.

Would not going see any other person for my hair cuts. Kelly is the best! She has the experience and the knowledge. I love my hair every time. And she understands what my hair can and can't do. She is very helpful in finding new styles. I recommend her to everyone I know. Aloha Salon is awesome.
I live in Colorado Springs but I drive up to Castle Rock 30 minutes just to see Kelly.She always takes the time to spend with me giving her full attention to her current customer. What a great cut and color!
It is nice to find an owner who really cares about the quality of the salon and the products they use. A great place to visit and enjoy a getting your hair done.

Amy listen to what i wanted and gave me a great color and cut. She's been doing hair for 20+ years and knows her stuff. I've sent all my friends to her. All the girls in the salon were very friendly and someone offered me a drink when i came in the door. It is a relaxing place with out the "spa" atmosphere. Give them a call you wont be sorry.

Most of the kids at my school right now have longer hair and many adults do not care for it. Kelly Tomlinson of Aloha Salon in Downtown Castle Rock understands that hair does not define a person and works with me and my friends and the longer hair we like right now instead of trying to make us all have short, clean cuts. It is nice to be accepted as we are and taught how to care for the longer hair we like!!
